Michael Zinn has a diverse work experience in industrial design and engineering. Michael is currently working as a Project Manager at watttron, where they started in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Development Engineer and Designer at the same company from June 2021 to March 2022.

Before joining watttron, Michael ran their own design and engineering business under the name "Michael Zinn Industrial Design and Engineering" from October 2015 onwards. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Industrial Designer and Engineer for various companies, including batimet GmbH from July 2017 to February 2019.

In addition to their freelance work, Michael has gathered experience in research and academia. Previously, they gained experience as an Industrial Design Intern at CLAAS, where they worked on a research project focused on user experience improvement for agricultural machinery. Michael conducted user analysis, interviewed users, and suggested design improvements based on user needs.

Michael Zinn attended the Technische Universität Dresden from 2011 to 2020, where they pursued a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design. In 2018, they briefly studied at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, but no specific degree or field of study was specified. Additionally, in May 2022, Michael obtained a certification as a Certified Project Management Associate (IPMA Level D) from the International Project Management Association.
