Tim Mccoy

Tim McCoy is the DER Programs Manager at Wattwatchers. Tim has over fifteen years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on metering and distributed energy resources (DER).

Prior to joining Wattwatchers, Tim was the Metering and DER Technology Manager at Mondo. In this role, they were responsible for product management and Distributed Energy Resources solutions development. Tim also led a large-scale 2G to 3G modem asset replacement project, Power of Choice and Mondo Ubi hardware development programs.

Before Mondo, Tim worked as a Technical Application Engineer for GE Digital Energy, where they were the lead ANZ pre-sales resource for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Demand Response Management System (DRMS) and Home Area Network technologies for Demand Optimisation.

Tim started their career as an Engineering Team Leader at Landis+Gyr. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development of new metering products and technologies.
