Haley Turnis is a communications professional with a background in event management and marketing. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist with the Waukee Community School District since October 2022, Haley has previously gained experience as an Events and Communication Intern at the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce from May 2021 to May 2022 and as an Events Marketing Intern at DRA Properties from May 2021 to August 2021. Additionally, Haley contributed to communications solutions as an Associate with Waukee Aspiring Professional Experience (APEX) from January 2017 to May 2017. Academically, Haley holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and Event Management from the University of Iowa, graduating in May 2022, and is a Waukee High School alumnus, having completed studies in 2018.
