Tiffany Verzani

Tiffany Verzani serves as the Executive Director of Waukegan Public Library since August 2022, leading initiatives to enhance and revitalize programs and services in line with the library's 2024-27 Strategic Plan. Prior to this role, Tiffany was a Substitute Teacher at Oak Park Elementary School District 97 from January to June 2022, supporting students and teachers during the pandemic. Tiffany has significant experience in library management, having served as Library Director at Elmwood Park Public Library from August 2013 to December 2021, where Tiffany oversaw a $1.8M budget and led a staff of 34. Previous positions include Assistant Director and Head of Youth & Young Adult Services at Hinsdale Public Library, and Head of Youth Services at Villa Park Public Library and Flossmoor Public Library. Tiffany holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Dominican University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Illinois Chicago.
