Leslie Abruzzo

Leslie Abruzzo is a school counselor with extensive experience in various educational settings. Currently serving the School District of Waukesha since July 2022 as both an eAchieve counselor for grades K-12 and an elementary counselor at Hillcrest, Abruzzo previously worked at Waukesha West High School from June 2015 to June 2022, where responsibilities included counseling 400 students, coordinating AP and global competence programs, and developing comprehensive counseling effectiveness programs. Earlier experience at Badger High School involved counseling 350 students, co-chairing the department, and establishing an onsite therapy clinic. Additionally, Abruzzo has coached varsity cheerleading at both Badger High School and Wheeling High School, focusing on coordination, technique instruction, and event management. Academic credentials include a Master’s in School Counseling from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University.
