Thom Kieffer

Thom Kieffer is the VP, Senior Trust Administrator at Waukesha State Bank. Thom has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on wealth management and trusts.

Thom began their career in the banking industry in 1989 as an AVP & Trust Officer at American Bank. Thom then spent three years at Firstar Bank in the same role before joining Norwest Bank Minnesota South N as an AVP & Trust Officer in 1995. Thom was with WNB Financial, N.A. for over 22 years, serving as SVP & Chief Trust Officer before leaving in 2018.

Most recently, Thom was a Wealth Management, Tax and Planning Advisor at Thomas G Kieffer CPA from October 2018 to September 2019. Thom then spent less than a year as a Financial Planner at Prudential Financial before joining Waukesha State Bank in February 2020.

Thom Kieffer has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Saint John's University, an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Mesabi Range Community and Technical College, and is a National Honor Society Graduate from Virginia Roosevelt High School. Thom is also certified by the CFP Board as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and by the American Bankers Association as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). Additionally, they are certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Thom Kieffer reports to Victor Schultz, Chief Fiduciary Officer & President, Prairie Trust & Waukesha State Bank Wealth Management. They work with Jean Durham - Legal Associate, Ron Jahnke - VP, Private Banking Officer, and J. Bernard Fiedler - Wealth Management Consultant.
