Nathan Thayne is an experienced Melt Manager with a comprehensive background in the foundry industry. Since August 2019, Nathan has been managing a continuous melting operation at Waupaca Foundry, recognized as the largest capacity ductile and gray iron melting facility in North America. Prior to this role, Nathan served as Melt Manager at Grede Holdings LLC, overseeing a cupola and electric melt operation with significant daily tonnage, and was also Melt Manager at McWane Ductile, where exceptional team performance was achieved through effective training and coaching. Nathan is currently pursuing an MBA at Oakland City University, expected to be completed in 2025.
