Jake Staples

Jake Staples is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in the coatings industry. Currently serving as Technical Manager at Wausau Coated Products, Inc. since January 2020, Jake previously held various roles at Ashland from December 2006 to January 2020, including Technical Team Leader, Technical Service Representative, and Scientist II and III. Earlier in the career, Jake worked as an Analytical Chemist at Northwest Coatings between 2002 and 2006. Jake holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, obtained in 2010, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Carthage College, earned in 1996.
