Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson has over 30 years of work experience in various management roles in the manufacturing industry. Bill is currently serving as the Vice President of Precision Machining at Wauseon Machine & Manufacturing since October 2021. Prior to this, they were the General Manager at the same company from May 2021 to October 2021.

Before joining Wauseon Machine & Manufacturing, Bill worked at Madison-Kipp Corporation as the Vice President of Operations from January 2019 to March 2021. Previously, they held the position of Director of Operational Excellence at the same company from April 2018 to January 2019.

From October 2015 to March 2018, Bill served as the Vice President of Operations at AY McDonald Manufacturing. Before that, they held the role of Manufacturing Manager Ferrous Operations at Hitchiner Manufacturing from June 2012 to October 2015.

Bill gained valuable consulting experience at WWJ Consulting from September 2007 to December 2011. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Manufacturing / Plant Manager at Bombardier Recreational Products from March 2000 to September 2007.

Their career began at General Motors- Saturn Corporation in 1990, where they held the position of AMA (Manufacturing Manager) for a significant duration.

Bill Johnson has a strong background in operations and manufacturing management, with a proven track record of success in driving excellence and achieving strategic goals within the manufacturing industry.

Bill Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, where they studied from 1980 to 1984.
