Alyssa Martinez

Alyssa Martinez is an experienced elementary educator currently serving in the Wauwatosa School District since January 2023. Previously, Alyssa taught 3rd grade ELA at the Milwaukee Academy of Science from June 2022 to February 2023, and has experience as a Kindergarten teacher in the Rockton School District 140 for two years. Alyssa's early career includes a role as a student teacher at Kirkwood Elementary School, where various teaching strategies were implemented for diverse learners. Earlier positions include working as an after-school child care assistant at Regina Inter-Parish Catholic Education Center, a paraprofessional educator at Hononegah Community High School, and an assistant teacher at Good Shepherd Center Preschool. Alyssa holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Iowa College of Education, earned in 2020.
