Chris Oyler

Chris Oyler is a seasoned network engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications and broadband sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Network Engineer at Astound Broadband since November 2016, Chris provides support for core network infrastructure, utilizing platforms such as Cisco and Juniper. Prior to this, Chris worked as an NSE Network Engineer at General Datatech, where responsibilities included managing network equipment for the Verizon Wireless LTE Lab and facilitating IPv6 migration projects. Chris also held senior technical roles at MetroPCS, focusing on mobility platforms and operational support for data traffic networks, and spent a decade at AT&T in various network engineering capacities, including U-Verse TAC. Chris began the career at Schlumberger Oilfield Services, overseeing WAN and LAN operations for the North America Gulf Coast Division. Education was pursued at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
