Kristen Woods

Kristen Woods is an experienced community engagement and education professional, currently serving as the Community Engagement Manager at WAVE Foundation - Newport Aquarium since February 2022. In this role, Kristen works with volunteers to inspire community interest in aquatic life and conservation. Prior to this, Kristen was the Community Development Manager at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, overseeing volunteers in specific school districts. Kristen's tenure at Cincinnati Museum Center spanned from 2011 to 2019, where Kristen held various roles including Manager of the Duke Energy Children's Museum, overseeing daily operations and volunteer management, and Manager of Public Programs, responsible for programming such as the Cincinnati Mini Maker Faire. Kristen began the career as an Education Assistant at the Contemporary Arts Center. Educational credentials include a Master of Art Education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Cincinnati.
