Tricia Watts

Tricia Watts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tricia is currently the Executive Director at WAVE Foundation - Newport Aquarium since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Director at Gorman Heritage Farm from March 2015 to December 2021.

Before their role at Gorman Heritage Farm, Tricia worked at Senior Services of Northern Kentucky from September 2011 to December 2014, initially as a Volunteer Coordinator and later as the Director of Advancement.

From July 2009 to August 2011, Tricia served as the Executive Director at Appalachian Artisan Center, where they oversaw various operations and managed relationships with stakeholders.

Tricia also has experience working as an Independent Insurance Agent from 2000 to 2010 and as the Chief Operating Officer at Watts Homes, Inc from January 1989 to November 2008.

Additionally, they worked in sales at Churchill Weavers from 1992 to 2006.

Tricia Watts earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University between 1990 and 1992. Tricia then pursued further education in the field of Rural Sociology at the University of Kentucky from 1994 to 1995. Tricia also obtained a certification in "Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development" from Emeritus in 2023.
