Gabriel Cordel is a highly experienced professional in scientific communication, currently serving as Scientific Director and previously holding roles as Principal Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer, and Medical Writer at Wave Healthcare Communications since December 2015. Prior experience includes freelance proofreading of scientific manuscripts for ESL authors at Enago and co-founding and managing Thrillhouse Sheffield, an independent music collective focused on events management. Educationally, Gabriel holds a Master's project on antibiotic cross-resistance in Clostridium difficile and a Bachelor's project on lipid accumulation in the haptophyte alga Emiliania huxleyi, both conducted at the University of Sheffield, where Gabriel earned an MBiolSci Hons in Molecular Biology.
