John Morfey is an accomplished project and maintenance engineer with extensive experience in the mining and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Wave International Pty Ltd since September 2018, John focuses on sitewide fire water upgrades and replacements. Prior to this role, John was a Project Engineer at Goonyella Riverside Mine, contributing to major fire water upgrades and materials handling projects. John's engineering expertise was further developed during a six-year tenure at Rio Tinto, where roles included Maintenance Engineer in Red Mud Dam and Materials Handling, Graduate Maintenance Engineer, and several positions as a Vacation Student. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from CQUniversity, completed in 2012.
