Chandra Vargeese

Chandra Vargeese has a strong background in RNA therapeutics chemistry and delivery, with experience in leading research and development efforts at various pharmaceutical companies such as Novartis, Merck, Sirna Therapeutics, and NeXstar Pharmaceuticals. With a focus on inventing and developing technologies for systemic delivery to the liver and tumors, Chandra has successfully managed teams, established goals, and contributed to the invention of Macugen, a VEGF aptamer for treating Age Related Macular Degeneration. Chandra holds a PhD in Chemistry and has continued to excel in the field of biochemistry and pharmaceutical research.
