J Keith McElveen

President, CTO, and Founder at Wave Sciences

J Keith McElveen has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1984, they worked as a Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and Adjunct Professor at Clemson University. In 1986, they began their career with the US Federal Government as a Technical Operations Officer, Research & Development Program Manager, and Chief Engineer, serving during the Cold War. In 1995, they moved to Salient Sciences as a Federal Programs Manager. In 1997, they founded the Research Triangle office of Sparta and subsequently grew it into a division. J Keith also created and developed Signalscape, a software environment for real-time, software-based digital signal processing of audio, video, array, computer protocol, and telecommunications data for forensic restoration and enhancement. This division was subsequently acquired by a multinational business to form Signalscape, Inc., where they served as President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2002, they founded Clarifying Technologies Inc. as President and CEO. Finally, in 2008, they founded Wave Sciences as President and CTO.

J Keith McElveen completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University between 1980 and 1984. J Keith then went on to complete a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University between 1984 and 1986. Prior to this, they attended the Governor's School of South Carolina in 1979, studying Chemistry.
