Rich Battista

Rich Battista is the Executive Chairman at Wave Sports + Entertainment. Rich has held this position since July of 2022. Prior to that, they were with TIME Studios from October of 2020 to July of 2022. Rich was also with Progress Acquisition Corp. and Ontic. From August of 2019 to November of 2019, they were the CEO of Imagine Entertainment. Rich has also been with Major League Baseball Players, Inc. and The Great Courses by The Teaching Company. From April of 2015 to January of 2018, they were the President & CEO of Time Inc. While with Time Inc., they led the company through its transformation from a print publisher to one of the world's leading multi-media companies. The company was sold to Meredith Corp. in January of 2018 for $2.8 billion.

Rich Battista has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University. Rich has worked in various management roles throughout their career.
