Lucy Darch has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the energy industry. Lucy began their career at Enron Direct in 1995, where they led the entry into the UK's newly deregulated gas and electricity markets. Lucy then worked at Centrica Business Services, where they managed the integration of sales channels and assisted with acquisitions.

In subsequent roles at British Gas Business, Lucy led digital and marketing initiatives, launched online account management for business customers, and developed marketing campaigns. At uSwitch.com, they restructured the energy team and acted as a company spokesperson for TV and radio.

Lucy also worked at Moneysupermarket.com, where they created a strategy and transformed the user journey for energy comparison. At British Gas Community Energy, they delivered contracts for energy solutions and launched programs to promote energy efficiency.

Lucy's experience at Northumbrian Water Group involved building the retail business and creating customer and brand propositions. Lucy also served as the CEO of Wave Utilities, leading a joint venture in the non-household water market. Currently, they are a member of the Strategic Panel at Market Operator Services Limited (MOSL) and serves as a Non-Executive Director.

Throughout their career, Lucy has demonstrated strong leadership skills, achieved business growth, and implemented successful projects in the energy industry.

Lucy Darch completed their education from 1975 to 1988 at Shrewsbury High School, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Following this, they attended Oxford Brookes University from 1988 to 1991 and obtained a 2:1 Hons degree in Geography & Business Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Lucy has obtained several certifications. In 1995, they earned a Diploma in Sales Promotion from the Institute of Sales Promotion. Then, in 2009, they completed certifications in Renewable Heating Systems and Renewable Energy Systems from the Energy Institute.
