Jaimi Cooks

Jaimi is the associate producer at Wavelength after spending three years as a content associate at Tribeca Studios and assistant directing in features and television.

Originally hailing from the Bay Area, Jaimi attended St. John’s University where they majored in Journalism and was programming director at WSJU, the university radio station. This led to an eye opening internship at Jigsaw Productions that saw them research and develop ideas for future collaborations with The New Yorker and CNN. After graduation, they returned to the Bay to work under the executive director of SFFILM but was ultimately lured back to the city to work more hands on in the film industry. In Jaimi’s spare time, they enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and walking their dog, Hunter.
