Sayani Basu

Sayani Basu has a diverse work experience in product management and technical roles. Sayani currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at Wavelo since January 2022. Sayani previously worked at Tucows as a Director of Product Management, where they held various roles such as Senior Technical Product Manager and Product Manager from 2020 to 2022.

Before working at Tucows, Sayani was a Product Owner at Roadmunk from September 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Product & Technical Consultant at OpenText from May 2018 to August 2019. Sayani also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Product Management at the University of Waterloo from January 2018 to April 2018.

Sayani'searlier experience includes being a Product Owner Co-op at John Deere from May 2017 to December 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo from September 2016 to December 2016.

Sayani's career began at LG Electronics, where they worked as a Product Owner/Software Engineer from June 2013 to July 2016.

Sayani Basu has a Master's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Waterloo, which they obtained between the years 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from PES University, from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Sayani has obtained several certifications. These include the AWS Technical Essentials certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) and Certified Scrum Master certifications from Scrum Alliance, and the Agile and Scrum certification from KnowledgeHut. Sayani also holds certifications in PMP® Certification Training Course, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), OpenText Content Server WebReports-1, OpenText Content Server 16.2 Business Consultant, and OpenText Content Server Records Management. The years in which they obtained these certifications range from 2018 to 2023.
