John Coudounaris

John Coudounaris is an experienced urban planner and economic development strategist with a diverse background spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently serving as the Smart Cities Co-lead (Strategy) at Waverley Council since 2012, John collaborates to enhance understanding and implementation of smart city initiatives. Prior roles include Economic Development Manager and Senior Planner - Development Assessment at multiple organizations, along with project management experience in property and asset management at aSquare Planning. John's educational qualifications include a Master of Property Development from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Town Planning from UNSW, complemented by a Prince2 Foundation certification in Project Management.
