Alexandria McBride has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Alexandria currently serves as the Strategy Director at the Waverley Street Foundation. Prior to this, they worked as a Climate Philanthropy Advisor at Emerson Collective from July 2021 to May 2022. Alexandria McBride earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from Howard University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, they also participated in a semester abroad program at the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Science as an IES Merrill Scholar. Alexandria later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management at The New School, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
