Hemal Patel

Hemal Patel has a diverse range of work experience in different roles and industries.

Starting in 2011, Patel worked as a Trainee at Orane Inc, where they learned about J2EE programming.

In 2013, Patel became a Management Trainee at InfoStretch Corporation, focusing on MIS and Business Development tasks such as creating datasheets and analyzing data to identify potential customers.

Moving into the gaming industry, Patel worked as a Unity 3D Developer at Orane Inc in 2014. They were responsible for client interactions, project handling, designing game documents, and game development programming.

In 2014, Patel joined SmartCloud Infotech Pvt Ltd as a Game Developer, successfully developing two game applications and one 3D application. They worked collaboratively with the client's team to ensure timely project delivery.

2015 marked another transition for Patel, as they joined GameStop as a Game Advisor and later moved to Razor Edge Games as a Contract Game Programmer. In this role, they developed code for games, attended developer meetings, and implemented new features into Unity, such as TressFX and Nvidia Hairworks.

From 2016 to 2019, Patel worked at Geek Squad as an Advanced Repair Agent, troubleshooting and providing customer consultations. They had a strong understanding of Microsoft tools and hardware to solve technical problems.

Also starting in 2016, Patel worked as a Game Reviewer at Gaming Cypher, providing in-depth insights into the pros and cons of the latest games, as well as identifying bugs, crashes, and visual or gameplay issues.

Currently, Patel holds the position of Software Engineer II at Wave, starting in November 2019.

Hemal Patel pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology from CEPT University from 2012 to 2014. In 2016, Hemal attended DePaul University to earn a Master's Degree in Computer Games and Programming Skills, which lasted until 2019. Before that, from 2008 to 2012, Hemal studied Information Technology at Gujarat Technological University, earning a B.E. degree. Prior to entering higher education, Hemal completed high school at Kendriya Vidyalaya, graduating with a focus on Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and Biology from 1996 to 2008.
