Arlen Stalwick

Arlen Stalwick has a comprehensive work experience in various roles in the technology industry. Arlen has been the Vice President of Engineering at Wavo.me since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Engineering at Wavo.me from January 2020 to July 2022, where they contributed to strategic direction and planning while ensuring efficient functioning of the engineering teams. From August 2018 to January 2020, Arlen was an Engineering Manager and Software Architect at Wavo.me, leading the Engineering department through a phase of rapid growth and developing the Music Intelligence Platform. In their early tenure at Wavo.me from April 2012 to August 2018, they were the Lead Software Engineer and played a crucial role in guiding the development of the company.

Additionally, Arlen worked as a Contract Software Engineer at MementoPix, where they built a web-based yearbook layout software using React and Redux. Arlen was associated with MementoPix from an unspecified start date until 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Software Architect at LumaPix from January 2005 to April 2012, where they contributed to and implemented various technical projects, including the development of the FotoFusion photo layout software. Later, Arlen pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology at Concordia University. Arlen studied at Concordia from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Arlen obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2023.
