Catherine Dawe

Catherine Dawe has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Catherine is currently working as a Full Stack Developer at Wavo.me since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Web Developer at Chimoney from April to May 2021.

Catherine also has experience as the Founder and Lead Operator of Dawe Nails, where they independently launched a successful entrepreneurial effort specializing in custom Nail Art creations. Catherine worked with several salons to grow a dedicated clientele base, create brand recognition, and increase sales from 2016 to 2021.

In 2018, Catherine worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk at ITALGEM Steel Group, where they were responsible for processing invoices, customer follow-up, and supplier account management.

Before entering the tech and business world, Catherine gained experience in the beauty industry. Catherine worked as a Nail Artist at Barbarella from 2014 to 2016, where they learned various skills including teamwork, customer service, and inventory management. Prior to that, they worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Jean Coutu from 2010 to 2014, where they focused on customer care and prescription preparation.

Catherine's early work experience includes a commission-based sales role at ALDO Group, where they achieved sales targets and provided excellent customer service under various company banners, including Feet First, Spring, Local, and Aldo, from 2006 to 2013.

Catherine Dawe's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at the Université de Montréal. Catherine pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Psychology and completed their studies in 2013. Following that, they attended HEC Montréal, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management between 2013 and 2016.

In 2021, Catherine enrolled at Lighthouse Labs and received a diploma in Full Stack Web Development. Apart from their formal education, they also acquired additional certifications. In September 2021, they completed the Learn TypeScript Course offered by Codecademy. Furthermore, they obtained the IBM Carbon Design System Developer Essentials - React certification from IBM in June 2021.
