David Nelson

David Nelson, CFE, has extensive experience in asset protection and loss prevention, currently serving as a Senior Asset Protection Advisor at Wawa, Inc. since 2017. Prior to this role, David held the position of District Director of Asset Protection at Macy's from February 2004 to January 2017, managing sixteen locations with an annual sales volume of $365 million and overseeing a team of ten executive and twenty-five non-exempt associates. David was a core member of the district leadership team, focusing on strategic sales, human resource initiatives, and profit enhancement. David earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business between 1988 and 1991.
