Christopher Williams

Christopher Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in multicultural student affairs, writing, and academic coaching. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Multicultural Student Affairs at the University of Mary Washington, Christopher has been instrumental in organizing the Cultural Awareness Series and implementing Social Justice & Leadership Summits. A prolific writer, Christopher has contributed to several prominent publications, including Okayplayer, Wax Poetics, and Ebony Magazine, producing numerous articles and conducting interviews with notable figures in music and culture. Additionally, Christopher has a strong background in educational support, having worked as a Student Success Coach and Academic Tutor at Germanna Community College, where significant focus was placed on first-generation college students. Christopher holds a B.S. in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and an A.A.S. in Liberal Arts from Germanna Community College.
