Aleph Henestrosa has a strong and diverse work experience. In 1996, they started as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, where they worked until 1998. From 2000 to 2002, at Index Ventures, Aleph worked as an Associate, analyzing deal flow, advising on investment decisions, and handling legal documentation. They then joined The Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria as a Fund Portfolio Manager from 2002 to 2005. Aleph had a brief stint at McKinsey & Company again in 2006 as an Engagement Manager. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Contractor at Partners in Performance. In 2009, Aleph also worked as a Senior Public Policy Analyst at The Office of Tony Blair. In 2013, they became an Interim COO at Viastara before transitioning to become a Board Member from 2014 to 2018. Lastly, Aleph is the Founder and CEO of Wax Revolution, a Mexico City-based chain of hair removal salons since 2011. The company currently has five locations and is still expanding.

Aleph Henestrosa's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which was obtained between 1998 and 2000. Prior to that, Henestrosa completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics and Government at Dartmouth College from 1992 to 1996.
