Jim Simpson

Jim Simpson is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and educational leadership. Currently, Jim serves as a High School Teacher at Waxahachie High School and also within the Waxahachie Independent School District since August 2018. Before this, Jim worked at Colleyville Heritage High School from August 2014 to June 2018 as a Special Education/Online Education Coordinator and Special Education Teacher, focusing on behavior specialist and credit recovery roles. Jim's earlier experience includes serving as Head Football Coach and Special Education Teacher at Lometa ISD from August 2012 to August 2014. Jim holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Tarleton State University.
