Nicholas Bahnweg

Nicholas Bahnweg is a seasoned information technology professional with extensive experience in various roles spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology for the Town of Waxhaw NC since August 2013, Nicholas has also held the position of Information Technology Manager and has expertise in TriCaster Video Production and Laserfiche Forms Design. As the owner of TwoHandymanGuys.Com LLC and CarolinaMoldExperts.Com since April 2008, Nicholas provides mold inspection and remediation services. Previous roles include Systems Administrator for the City of Salisbury, where Nicholas managed network operations and virtualized over 80 servers, and Senior Systems Engineer at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, overseeing numerous servers and patch management. Nicholas began the career at First Union National Bank, undertaking roles such as Systems Engineer and Y2K Project Engineer, with an earlier position as Network Administrator at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff. Nicholas holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems from DeVRY Institute of Technology, completed in 1988.
