Dean Stafford

Dean Stafford is the Global Media Director at Way To Blue, a global communications agency working across Film, Home Entertainment, Television and Consumer brands. Prior to their current role, Stafford served as the Director of Paid Media at Primer from September 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they oversaw the paid media team, planning, buying, managing, optimizing, and reporting on paid digital media for a client base including 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, NBC Universal, Focus Features, Walt Disney Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Lionsgate Entertainment, IMAX, and Amazon.

Before Primer, Stafford was the Media Director at Way To Blue from July 2017 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing paid social media campaigns across all channels for a variety of clients in the entertainment industry. Dean also managed a team of social media specialists who created content and engaged with fans on behalf of clients.

Prior to Way To Blue, Stafford was the Social Media Manager at CORT, Berkshire Hathaway from April 2013 to July 2017. In this role, they created and executed social media strategy for CORT's furniture rental business. Dean also managed a team of social media coordinators who implemented social media campaigns and monitored online activity for CORT's furniture rental business.

Before CORT, Stafford was a Public Relations Intern & Freelance at Giant Noise from August 2012 to December 2012. In this role, they assisted with media relations and event coordination

Dean Stafford has a degree in theatre with an emphasis on production and acting from St. Edward's University. Dean also has certification from Google in video advertising and AdWords.
