Jen Millard has held a variety of positions in the technology industry since 2007. In 2007, they were the Executive Vice President of Strategy and New Business Development at Zoom Systems. From 2011 to 2013, Jen was the Chief Revenue Officer at Truaxis, Inc. and from 2013 to 2015, they were the VP Global Business Development-Loyalty at MasterCard. In 2015, they were an Entrepreneur in Residence at Sutter Hill Ventures and from 2018 to 2020, they were the Chief Revenue Officer at Upside. In 2020, they were the Chief Revenue Officer at Dosh and in 2021, they became the Managing Director, Digital and Technology Practice Lead at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. In 2022, they became an Operating Partner at Function Ventures. Jen also founded Sanctum Insights in 2010, where they served as the Managing Partner. During their time at Sanctum Insights, they were involved in the acquisition of DOSH by Cardlytics, Tracker by Mitratech, Chowbotics by DoorDash, Nomadic VR, Sutter Hill Confidential Company by Apple, and LifeFactory Inc. by Thermos Inc.

Jen Millard attended Colby College and obtained a B.A. in American Studies. In 2014, they attended Stanford University's Dschool - Innovation Program, where they studied Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Jen also obtained a certification in Innovation for Large Organizations from Stanford University in 2015. Additionally, they attended the Wisconsin School of Business to study Business and Finance.
