Lakshmi Sowjanya Kalari has over 15 years of work experience in the technology industry. Lakshmi Sowjanya began their career in 2005 as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies. In 2007, they became a Module Lead at Kodak, and then moved to Kodak Gallery in 2008 to serve as a Module Lead. In 2009, they were a Technical Lead at Walmart.com, and then a Sr. Software Engineer for Cloud at Kno Inc. in 2010. From 2013-2017, they were an Engineering Manager at Intel Corporation, where they led design and development of Intel education platform services and cloud backend teams and their projects. In 2018, they became Head of Engineering at Way.

Lakshmi Sowjanya Kalari attended the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained their BE degree.
