Tamiko Sharpe

Tamiko Sharpe has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Tamiko began their career in 2010 as a Manager at Allstate, where they produced a profitable insurance team with 5 P&C agents writing over $100K in new business premiums a month with an overall 92% retention rate. In 2014, they moved to Nationwide as a Manager, producing a profitable insurance branch with 3 P&C agents producing over 600 new business policies a month with an overall retention rate of 80%. In 2015, they moved to Acceptance Insurance as Manager, producing a profitable insurance branch with 5 P&C agents writing over 900 new business policies a month with an overall retention rate of 85%. Tamiko was also an internal Underwriter for both Nationwide and Acceptance Insurance to review and ensure all new businesses meet carrier's guidelines. In 2018, they founded their own company, One Sharpe Solution, which provides auto, home, life, health, and commercial coverage with over 30 partnerships. In 2021, they joined Way.com as Senior Director of Service & Underwriting, where they develop, implements plans, and objectives that can be measured for the department and maintains compliance with over 130 carrier partnerships to increase higher retention for the company.

Tamiko Sharpe holds an Associate's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from The University of Akron, earned between 1987 and 1990.
