Jamie Rosen has a diverse work experience that includes founding and leading multiple successful companies. In 1997, Rosen dropped out of HBS to start Comet Systems, Inc, which they later sold in 2004 for $33.5 million. Following this, they patented several inventions relating to social mobile networking and location-based matching while working at Chango Toys from 2005 to 2007, eventually selling this intellectual property to Yahoo! in 2007. From 2007 to 2010, Rosen founded and served as CEO of an early stage startup. Most recently, in 2011, they founded and currently serves as the CEO of WayBetter, a direct-to-consumer behavior change company focusing on weight management. WayBetter has achieved remarkable success through its methodology, combining gamification, social support, and financial incentives to deliver life-changing weight loss results and increased physical activity.
Jamie Rosen attended Fieldston from 1982 to 1988, where no degree or field of study was specified. From 1988 to 1992, Jamie studied Government at Harvard University and earned an AB degree. Lastly, from 1997 to 1998, Jamie pursued an MBA at Harvard Business School, however, the field of study for this degree was not provided.
