David Deacon

David Deacon has over 14 years of professional work experience in the design industry. David began their career in 2005 as a Junior Designer at Nova Design International, a short term internship in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2006, they moved to Joe & Kit Designers as a Product Designer. From 2007 to 2015, they held various roles at Hayco Group, including Assistant Manager of Industrial Design, Lead Designer, and Industrial Designer. In 2015, they joined Mist as a Product Design Manager, where they were responsible for developing design and functional direction, sourcing and managing external design support, and sourcing and appraising potential partner factories and facilities. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at 2Market Ltd. as a Principal Designer. Finally, in 2019, they co-founded Wayfarer Solutions (formerly Wayfarer Points) and served as the Creative & Marketing Lead.

David Deacon completed their A-Levels at South Island School from 2001 to 2002, where they studied Art, Design Technology, Economics & General Studies. David then attended the University for the Creative Arts from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a BA Hons in Product Design & New Media.
