Abhishek Vaidyanathan

Abhishek Vaidyanathan is the General Counsel at WayFi Wireless, bringing extensive expertise in technology law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. With a strong background in litigation, international arbitration, and operational leadership, he ensures that WayFi Wireless operates within the highest legal and ethical standards while navigating the complexities of the wireless and telecommunications industry.

In addition to his role at WayFi Wireless, Abhishek serves as General Counsel at NEAR Foundation, practicing through Abhishek Vaidyanathan Legal Professional Corporation since February 2023. He is also a DeputyGC Member at TechGC, an exclusive community for Deputy General Counsels focused on legal leadership in the tech sector.

As Co-Founder, Vice President of Operations, and General Counsel at Hexagon Wireless, Abhishek has played a key role in business strategy, contract negotiations, and risk management since February 2022. His prior legal experience includes serving as an Associate at Tyr LLP (2020-2022), Henein Hutchison LLP (2019-2022), and Shearman & Sterling LLP (2017-2019), where he specialized in litigation and international arbitration.

Abhishek earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University (2014-2017) and holds an Honours B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto (2010-2014). His deep legal expertise and industry knowledge make him a key contributor to WayFi Wireless’ mission of advancing secure, seamless wireless connectivity.
