Mechanical Design Engineer at Wayland Additive

Shan Teo has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Cashier at Joy King from 2011 to 2013, where they prioritized excellent customer service and handled transactions efficiently. They then worked as a Fundraiser at Champion Life Academy in 2015, where they successfully connected with donors and raised awareness for the Children's Trust Charity.

In 2018, Shan Teo joined E3D-ONLINE LIMITED as a Production Operator, gaining technical skills in operating and maintaining complex machinery while maintaining high-quality production standards. The following year, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at both Keraflo and Cistermiser. At Keraflo, Shan collaborated with cross-functional teams to redesign valves and meet BRE regulation standards. At Cistermiser, they designed innovative products, including a patented leakproof siphon flushing device and a touchless flushing sensor catered to people with varying abilities.

Most recently, in 2022, Shan Teo joined Wayland Additive as a Mechanical Design Engineer, where they are currently working.

Shan Teo began their education journey in 2013 at Loughborough University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Shan successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2017. Following this, Shan Teo furthered their academic pursuits at Loughborough University and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering, studying from 2017 to 2018.
