Philip Bassett

Philip Bassett currently serves as Chairman of Waymap, a leading navigation technology company, since February 2024. In addition to this role, Bassett is the Founder and Managing Partner of Brightwell Partners, a position held since July 2016, and Co-Founder of the beach house restaurant since May 2013. Previously, Bassett was a Partner at Permira from February 1995 to June 2015. Educationally, Bassett holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Ancient/Classical Greek Language and Literature from the University of Oxford, achieved between 1985 and 1989.
