Afia Asamoah

Afia Asamoah has a vast experience in the legal and healthcare technology industry. Afia currently works as a Co-Founder and Head of Legal and People at Waymark, a public benefit corporation providing tech-enabled healthcare services for Medicaid beneficiaries. Prior to this role, Afia worked at Google as the Head of Legal for Google Health and at Verily Life Sciences in various legal and compliance roles. Afia also has experience as a Senior Associate at Covington & Burling LLP and as a Special Assistant to the Principal Deputy Commissioner at the Food and Drug Administration. Afia holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a Masters of Public Policy in Health Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.
