Andy Warburton

Andy Warburton currently serves as the Platform Integration Engineering Director at Waymo, having joined the company in January 2017. Previously, Andy held the position of Vehicle Engineering Lead at Google from July 2015 to December 2016, where responsibilities included integrating self-driving system hardware into vehicle platforms. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Body Structures and Closures at Tesla Motors, and Engineering Manager at Jaguar Land Rover, leading various projects in body engineering. Early career experience includes significant roles at BMW Group and Rover Group. Andy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and German from Coventry University and Hochschule Osnabrück.
