Chan-Ping Edwin Lim is an experienced RF, antenna, and radar design professional with a robust career in the automotive and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as the product lead for Waymo One and Via radars at Waymo since June 2018, Lim previously contributed to Tesla as a designer of the company's first in-house radars. With a solid foundation in antenna design, Lim has held positions at Aptiv focusing on automotive radar antenna designs, TECOM - Smiths Microwave as a senior antenna design engineer, and HEICO developing airborne SATCOM and GPS antennas. Additional experience includes roles at Powerwave Technologies, Laird Technologies, Yeon Technologies, and the Institute of High Performance Computing. Lim holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University and multiple degrees from the National University of Singapore and The University of Western Australia.
