Corey Vickrey is an experienced software engineering manager with a career spanning over two decades. Corey has been with Waymo since March 2019, managing projects focused on software engineering. Prior to that, Corey spent 13 years at Google in various roles, starting as a software engineer and progressing to tech lead and eventually manager, currently overseeing the Cloud SQL Control Plane team with an emphasis on scale, reliability, and velocity. Corey's professional journey began at Oracle from September 2002 to August 2005 as a software engineer.
