Jingxuan Hou

Jingxuan Hou is a Senior Software Engineer at Waymo, working on the Perception Team. Prior to Waymo, Jingxuan served as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on Automatic Photo Composition. Jingxuan also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Uber Advanced Technologies Group, specializing in self-driving cars and 3D object detections. Jingxuan's research experience includes dynamic hand gesture recognition at Tsinghua University and analyzing deep learning models for action recognition at The Johns Hopkins University. Jingxuan holds a Master of Science in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University.
