Jonathan Ng is a seasoned product manager with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Product Lead for Perception Foundational Models at Waymo since November 2018, Jonathan manages a team of 4 product managers and 200 engineers, overseeing the development of perception systems for autonomous vehicles and successfully launching driverless robotaxi services across multiple major cities. In addition to this role, Jonathan acts as an angel investor and advisor with Waymo Angel Syndicate, specializing in AI/ML and deep tech. Previous positions include product management at Nest, Yahoo, and PaperG, as well as experience in software engineering at Google and Microsoft. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and has been awarded multiple patents.
