Luke Gunderson

Luke Gunderson is an experienced operations and program manager with a diverse background in both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as Operations Program Manager at Waymo, Luke is focused on scaling the deployment of Autonomous Vehicles in Austin. Prior to this role, Luke worked at Google as a Technical Program Manager, where responsibilities included optimizing the destruction and recycling of classified hardware and managing cross-functional teams. With over a decade of service in the US Navy, Luke held several key positions, including Director of Operations for Carrier Air Wing 17 and Senior Technical Program Manager in Quality Assurance, achieving significant improvements in operational efficiency and training effectiveness. Luke holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS in Economics from the University of Minnesota.
