Mark Liu

Mark Liu is a Senior Software Engineer at Waymo since September 2022, with extensive experience in autonomous vehicle technology. Previously at Embark Trucks, Mark served as Tech Lead Manager for Behavior Planning, leading team growth and managing technical direction. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Cruise Automation, where responsibilities involved autonomous decision-making systems, and Software Engineer at Google, enhancing a dynamic configuration platform for Search-as-a-Service. Mark's technical foundation includes a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from the University of Michigan.
