Nick Webb is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Systems Engineering at Waymo since August 2018, Nick focuses on ensuring the company's mission of "Drive with Confidence." Prior to Waymo, Nick held various leadership roles at Nest from December 2012 to August 2018, contributing to the successful launch of 12 products and establishing Nest as a prominent brand. Nick's career includes a significant role as Engineering Program Manager for the iPhone 5 at Apple Inc. and earlier positions as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University's Smart Product Design Lab and mechanical design engineering roles at d.light design, IDEO, and Light & Motion. Nick holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
