Priya Kamat is an experienced professional in quantitative user experience research and data science, currently serving as a Staff Quantitative UX Researcher at Waymo since January 2020. Prior to this role, Priya held positions at Uber from November 2014 to October 2019, first as a Senior Data Scientist where theoretical insights from behavioral science were applied to enhance products and user engagement, and previously as a founding member of Uber Labs, advising on experimental designs. Priya's earlier career includes roles at Northwestern University as a Freelance Consultant, Instructor, Lab Manager, and Graduate Researcher, as well as research positions at NCIRE and UCSF's San Francisco Treatment Research Center. Priya earned a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Social Psychology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English from the University of Pennsylvania.
